Mr. Shaik Dawood born on 2nd October 1955, politics was not in Mr. Shaik Dawood’s blood. Instead, it was the desire to serve the society that was passed on to Mr. Shaik Dawood by his family. At a young age of seventeen, Mr. Shaik Dawood joined the Madras University as a Student Union Chairman. That was the turning point of his life.
Organisational Role in Tamil Manila Muslim League:
In 1972, as a student of Economics, he was handed over the responsibility of the Union Chairman of the students’ organization in the Madras University. He later became the member of the Party All India Anna Diravida Munnetra Kalagam (AIADMK). Mr. Shaik Dawood went on hold many responsibilities to rise up in AIADMK where he became the star orator of AIADMK.
In the year 1986, he was started Tamil Manila Muslim League with the leadership of;
- Mr. Kaja Moideen, Ex. MP, Indian Union Muslim League as President
- Mr. Mia Khan Sahib, Ex. MLC, State of Tamilnadu as Associate President
- Mr. Adam, as General Secretary
- Mr. Dawood Mia, as Secretary – Foreign Affairs
- Mr. Shaik Dawood, as Organising Secretary
With the collition with Dravida Munnetra Kalagam (DMK).
Notable successes in the career:
- In the age of 17 yrs with Mr. M. .Ramachandran, (Ex.Chief Minister – DMK), worked as the advisor.
- In the age of 18 yrs with Mr. M. G. Ramachandran
(Ex.Chief Minister – DMK),
Mr. M. Karunanidhi (Ex.Chief Minister – DMK),
and Mr. Murosoli Maran (Ex.Central Minister), worked as the advisor.
- In the age of 18 yrs with Mr. M. G. Ramachandran

(Ex.Chief Minister – ADMK), worked as the advisor.

General Assembly Election 2016:
Mr. Shaik Dawood’s skill in political strategy and vision, Ex. Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Hon. Ms. J. Jayalalitha and AIADMK council members given him a chance to contest in Kadayanallur MLA Constituency. Scored 70,000 votes and unfortunately defeated in 500 votes only.
